Ramble: Star Trek
Dec. 12th, 2009 04:08 amAfter a lifetime of feeling obligated as a science fiction fan to watch Star Trek (without feeling at all excited about the prospect), I somewhat accidentally read a bit of Star Trek fanfiction the other day.
The next thing I knew, I was scouring the internet for more, watching episodes from TOS until I couldn't see straight (S1 is on Netflix Watch-It-Now~), and tracking down the new movie at the nearest video store because I just couldn't wait for the DVD to arrive from Netflix.
I don't think I've been so completely head over heels for a fandom since ever, and I've loved quite a few fandoms quite a lot in the recent-- and not so recent-- past.
And this one is so old.
I need an icon...
